This brief asked to create a Calendar for Matariki 2015 which also folded into a booklet. The booklet contains further information about Matariki and its importance. The concept behind the design is the rising of the moon when Matariki is seen (at night). This is refelected in the cropped letterforms in the title, and the deep purple background with the elements of the poster and type standing out against the dark, this representing the stars of Matariki.
